Volunteers

Habitat could not build without our volunteers. Volunteers give hundreds of hours during the course of a year, from house construction to committee involvement.

Our volunteers are college students, retirees, skilled trades people, church and synagogue members, colleagues, and people who have never picked up a hammer. The common thread is the desire to take part in something big -- to help build homes for families who would not otherwise be able to afford a home.

All volunteers must be at least 16 years old to assist in the construction process. Individuals under the age of 16 will only be allowed at the construction site to assist in yard work when under the direct supervision of an adult.
